Full-scale engineered barrier system experiment at Horonobe URL; Numerical analysis of coupled thermal-hydrological-mechanical processes

Full-scale engineered barrier system experiment are being conducted at the G.L. -350 m gallery in the Horonobe Underground Research Laboratory (URL). One of objectives of the experiment is acquiring data concerned with coupled Thermal-Hydrological-Mechanical-Chemical (THMC) processes. These data will be used in order to confirm the performance of engineered barrier system. This study reports a numerical analysis of THM processes.
